1. My wife was The Franchise this week, a venerable one-woman labor union, doing every job, inside or outside, small, or big. I, on the other hand, pretty much laid on the couch and watched her, taking the naps she needed.

3. There are far more great Christmas songs than terrible ones, but the bad ones are so gruesome it seems like the reverse is true. (Christmas Shoes is the worst of the worst.)

6. How in the world did the name Jesus Christ become a swear word? Why not Stalin or Mao or Hitler or Marx or Khan? Only Satan explains it if you ask me.

8. My 5-year-old grandson JT on being reminded Thursday was Thanksgiving. “Oh boy, I guess I better brush my teeth”. 🤔
9. Kidney stones win the pain game. Hands down. If you know, you know.
10. Most common question heard in my house? “Siri, where are you?” Second? “Dean, have you seen my Kindle?”
