Even if nobody asked……

1. Life with my wife: I see a traffic light covered on a frequent drive in Florida and tell Trish that covering that light is going to help us move along this road a lot better. She shakes her head and informs me that it’s not a light being covered, it’s a brand-new light being installed. I say I’m not sure about that. She mutters something about me being an idiot. I mutter something about her being a pessimist.

2. Fate would not have the reputation it has if it simply landed us where we thought it would.

3. If you were asked to describe your child to someone, they’d hear all the wonderful things about them, would they not? But when we imagine our heavenly father describing us, we often hear only the weaknesses and flaws. That’s because it’s not HIM introducing us, it’s Satan. Turn off that voice. (HT: Jamie Winship, pictured below with the Traffic Light Whisperer.)

4. Our problems are rarely about the things we DID and often about the things we DIDN’T do.

5. Twenty years from now there will be countless businesses across the country celebrating that in 2025 they didn’t believe the lies “All of the good ideas have been taken” or "It was just a stupid idea anyway”. Fortune favors the bold.

6. Funny how high and proud red flags fly in hindsight.

7. Some people get in an exercise rut, others in an eating rut, some a reading rut. Right now, I’m in a PODCAST rut. Nothing sounds interesting to me lately. Like they all need more salt or something. Or maybe I just need to eat more carbs, burn a book, or buy new headphones.

8. I’ve recently learned that physical pain tells two lies: 1) I’m never going away and 2) I’m going to kill you. Yeah no, just no. To both lies.

9. Do you truly have so much free time on your hands that you can go around talking to people who don’t listen? You have THAT many hours in a day? Good for you. Now go spend it more wisely.

10. I was on a call with a major US company the other day and their customer service resolution on the issue I was having was “to call back and try again.” I asked them for their NEXT best option as that couldn't be a real one. They told me it was. Hey, can we slap a tariff on them?

I enjoy spitting these out each week and appreciate those of you who read, COMMENT and share. Virtual high-five to you all.
