Even if nobody asked….

1. An uncooperative CT scan got me called home two days early from a camping trip this week, leaving Trish, Brady, and the dogs up north with our friends. When I got home I casually mentioned how peaceful the house was and how relaxed I felt in spite of things (dumb!). Trish's reply: “Well if I look at the Ring Camera’s and see you making a mess or having too much fun, I’m Ubering the dogs home. Be there when the driver gets there.” #LifeWithMyWife

2. Don’t let sin AGAINST you produce sin IN you.

3. Marriage isn’t difficult. LIFE is difficult and marriage is part of life.

4. RIP Terry Gene Bollea. Big fan of the man even though I never followed his career.

5. There is no charity, philanthropy, sacrifice or giving in a world that has no suffering.

6. Our media/political world right now is dominated by Thought-Killing Clinches. Ignore them. All of them. Then you’ll be able to think again.

7. Neil Diamond died to me when he came out with the embarrassing song Turn on your Heart Light for the movie ET. So naturally, I have real trouble at Fenway Park when the game reaches the bottom of the 8th. Kind of like the Boston Red Sox relievers do.

8. 2X growth is QUANTITY. 10X growth is QUAILTY.

9. Rant: The WNBA all-star shirt slogan, ‘Pay us you what you OWE us’ wouldn’t work if they wrote ‘Pay us what we’re WORTH’, now would it? – seeing that the league loses millions even while being subsidized by the men’s league. Rant over.

10. Trish describes her ideal camping day as seeing kids nap where they land from complete exhaustion with dirty feet and dried ice cream on their faces. Brilliant.

As always, I appreciate those who read this and those who someday will. Rock on.
