Even if nobody asked…..

1. My daughter and son-in-law lost their 14-year-old dog, Fenway, last weekend. I asked Morgan how her young boys were taking it. She replied: “Well, my 4-year-old keeps asking if we can call God and ask him to give Fenway back while my 2-year-old is taking the dementia approach. He just randomly yells ‘Hey, where’s Fenway?’ every couple of hours. Then we all start crying again.” Funny/not funny.

2. Memory speaks. But it stutters.

3. “The sin of pride is essentially competitive by its very nature while the other sins are competitive only by accident.” Be careful with pride.

4. What sort of love is it if you hand someone over when it gets difficult? As Russian novelist Leo Tolstoy wrote: “We do not love people so much for the good they have done us, as for the good we do them.”

5. “My phone is a seldom used app on my phone.” Gary Gulman.

6. “I liked the first season of Lost so much I wanted to get in a plane crash.” – My son Taylor explaining his answer as Lost being one of his all-time favorite series.

7. Often times the best ability is AVAILABILITY.

8. When firing someone for chronic issues use TWO examples. One becomes a ping/pong match (he said/she said), three makes you a bully.

9. The Red Sox essentially returned Raffy Devers to the store and got their money back. The store threw in some coupons to make everyone feel better. But they don’t.

10. I don’t know anything about the Karen Reid thing except Massachusetts tried somebody twice for the same crime without a conviction in either case and I’m pretty sure you can’t do that.
