Even if nobody asked…..
1. Eight straight ads on FB before I get to a single post from one of my connections. It’s like catching every single red light on a five-block drive to get milk.
2. Black Rabbit on Netflix is kind of a mess, held together by famous faces.
3. In what world would you define a high occupancy vehicle as a driver and ONE passenger? Naming it an HOV lane is a bit hyperbolic, no?
4. How has the phrase “running around like a chicken with its head cut off” survived this long? Not sure .01% of the population has ever seen a chicken that wasn’t on a plate, never mind one that has been decapitated.
5. Each day I hope to be stronger than my excuses.
6. “It doesn’t take long to write things of which you know nothing. When you write of actual things, it takes longer, because you have to live them first.” – A Tree Grows in Brooklyn
7. I only hear the word ‘unscathed’ when listening to baseball announcers. Coaches and players don’t use it. People out here in the real world don’t use it either. Can we just go back to saying, “He got out of a jam”?
8. My history in leadership has shown that people need to be REMINDED more often than they need to be INSTRUCTED. CRO: Chief Repeating Officer.
9. “The biographies of the great men and women of God repeatedly point out how the secret of the success in their spiritual life is attributed to “quiet time” each morning.” The Most Important Hour as Buck Jacobs taught me.
10. My five-year-old grandson JT in the car telling his three-year-old brother Mac about marriage: “You have to get a wife and it can’t be mom or Sadie (younger sister) or anyone else in your family. Your wife then gets a baby in her belly and if you’re at the hospital when the baby comes out then you’re the dad. That’s how it works.” Mac exhales in relief: “OK, I can do that.”
Let's go! Have a great day. Thanks for commenting and sharing.
