Even if nobody asked….
1. The Hulu TV series Chad Powers is really stupid – and just what the doctor ordered. Kinda fun. The female lead (plays a football coach) is the real-life wife of Uber’s Man of the Year, Mark Sanchez.
2. We don’t suffer as much from a LACK of opportunity as we do from an ABUNDANCE of it.
3. Dilbert creator Scott Adams is a force of nature on his media platforms (@ScottAdamsSays). Few people have built a tribe that loves and cares for a venerable stranger the way Scott has. Sadly, he has entered hospice and may not be heard from again.
4. You won’t outwork the person working on the better thing. Choose wisely.
5. Envy paints the comforts of others as if they will be enjoyed forever. Envy forgets that all the things you envy are temporary.
6. Best skill someone can have? Staying in a good mood for no reason.
7. Lots of people think they have beliefs, when in reality their beliefs have them.
8. If no one can do what you do, you’ll never need a resume. Don’t aim for GREAT, aim for RARE.
9. Just completed the work on a book of 50 short stories from my life. I feel like a guy who just walked his daughter down the aisle. The book title? You can guess it, can’t you?
10. I have two recurring dreams a few times a year. One is where my teeth are spilling out of my mouth, and I can’t stop them or catch them. The other is me trying to tee up a golf ball, but I can’t – because it’s on a cliff, in sand, way below (or above) me, or there’s just no room for it in the tee box. So there you go – the guy you faithfully read every Saturday.
