Even if nobody asked…..

1. In 1996, I drove a loaner SUV while my car was being repaired. I got the vehicle from my brother Dan, who was working at Rodman Ford in Foxboro. When it came time to return it I had to hurry because there was a rookie trying to make the Patriots team who was waiting for it. I arrived, flipped the keys to the little guy, and never looked back. I often wonder how long NFL Hall of Famer, Adam Vinatieri, drove my Ford Explorer that year.

2. Slogans are LOUD when deeds are SILENT.

3. Men INSULT each other as a socializing devise. Woman COMPLIMENT each other as a socializing devise. Neither really means it.

4. Guys, listen up. Never, ever, shake a mans hand when they’re standing and you’re sitting.

5. Message boards on sites with zero subscription fees are the clogged toilet bowl of human discourse – a plunger doesn’t even work.

6. Ideas only become clear when you start working on them.

7. Quoting yourself when making a point is gross. Quoting yourself in a column you’ve written should permanently suspend your keyboard privileges.

8. “You need to TALK to yourself more than you LISTEN to yourself” – M.G Verbal, gridiron philosopher.

9. “ADHD is the 19 roommates in your head all talking at once.” Interesting visual.

10. If you're in New England and haven't yet seen my brother Daniel Harrington's performance of Larchmont Remembered then you are missing out on getting a glimpse of the joy I had growing up in the same house with Dan. Simply brilliant. And free! Coming to a library or community center near you. Follow Dan's FB page for details.
