Even if nobody asked…..
1. Earlier this week my wife greets me in our closet as I’m getting dressed: “Hey, don’t wear those sweatpants”, she remarks. I ask her which of my sweatpants she’d suggest I wear instead. She replies: “NONE OF THEM.” I tell her I need something to wear to the gym. “Wear jeans or suit pants then, your sweatpants are nursing home sweatpants.” I put on shorts, despite the 48-degree temperature.
2. Satan’s desire is that you live your life making guesses, mostly wrong, about who you are, who God is, and who your neighbor is. He doesn’t require you believe in him to do this.
3. Choose to live by ENCOURAGEMENT rather than EXPECTATIONS.

7. Your CHARACTER matters more than your CREDENTIALS.

9. We so often judge ourselves by our INTENTIONS and everyone else by their ACTIONS. Let’s not do that.
10. I have been in charge of putting the trash at the curb for over half a century YET my little helper at home still manages to offer color commentary on my performance on selected Monday mornings throughout the year. I don’t know what I’d do without her.
