Even if nobody asked……

1. I cut my hand in front of my soon-to-be three-year old grandson the other day. His face squished into concern as he asked the most import question his mind could find: “Papa, does this mean you won’t be able to pet Kevin anymore”? 😎

2. Empathy is the highest form of intelligence.

3. If you ever get the chance to make someone smile, or better yet, make someone laugh, then you take it. Each and every time. What about if it’s at your own expense? Even better.

4. All claims that something is a threat to DEMOCRACY are really meant as something being a threat to BUREAUCRACY. 100% of the time.

5. 150,000 people died yesterday. You weren’t one of them (I assume). Now tell me again all the things you’re mad about, or that are ruining your day.

6. “On my flight this morning to NY everyone in 1st class was reading non-fiction books and everyone in the rest of the plane was reading fiction books.” – @AlexAndBooks_ Ironically, I read 2/3rd non-fiction and 1/3rd fiction and that’s about my split in flying 1st class vs flying coach. (My wife Trish reads only non-fiction – if you get my drift.) From the peanut gallery, my esteemed brother Danny insists all pilots read biographies.

7. If you don’t have anything to SAY then find something to ASK.

8. The less problems you have in your life the lower you set the bar that defines a problem. Pay attention to this. Is it a problem or an inconvenience?

9. Hey guys, if she uses the word ‘fine’, she isn’t and if she replies "sure" to a yes or no question, she isn’t. You’re welcome.

10. “You don’t have to be outwardly excited to be internally combustible.” – Michael Strahan on Eli Manning at the latter’s (dubious?) HOF introduction ceremony.

Have a great week everyone. Truly appreciate the honor of your attention.
