Even if nobody asked……

1. Look Mr. or Mrs. White Lab Coat Worker standing way up there at CVS, it’s not complicated. The doctor wants my prescription refilled. So does the pharmaceutical sales rep, the health insurance benefit manager, and the national news anchor. Not to mention my wife. Do we really need permission to keep the whole thing going? Just refill it. Thank you.

2. In problem solving, “this might not work” isn’t something to avoid. It’s something to seek.

3. The car wash broke down with me sitting halfway through the ride. Employees scrambling everywhere. My thought: this should be a thing. No calls. No rushing. Best Hide and Seek spot ever. When it restarted, I gave them my best “do we have to?” face. It didn’t land.

4. You determine how close you are to God, not God.

5. Dianna Russini is my favorite NFL journalist. Mike Vrabel is my favorite NFL head coach. I’d strongly prefer they not be seen holding hands in a hot tub in Sedona. I’m guessing her husband and his wife would agree.

6. Every time I hear members of Congress talk, I’m tempted to put my flag at half-staff.

7. If you want something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done.

8. Bill Belichick can wait one more year for the Hall of Fame. I mean, he waited nearly 50 years for his girlfriend to be born. 😎

9. There is no virtue in publicizing your suffering. But there is no wisdom in denying it.

10. My 3-year-old grandson is obsessed with Mimi (Trish). At a baseball field Friday night he ran right past me with a casual “Hey Papa” while screaming “MIMI” at full volume.

If not for a last-second warning by his alert mother, he would have jumped into the arms of a stranger wearing the same coat Mimi wears. Mimi, by the way, was 1,200 miles away in sunny Florida. Close call!

Rock it out today. Comments are welcome, noting which point hit you best always earns extra credit!
