Even if nobody asked…..

1. Mimi escorts our nearly 3-year-old grandson to the toilet. He gets poop on the seat and reacts in horror. Mimi assures him, in her most nurturing tone (the one she mutes around her husband), that "it's OK."

Said grandson exits the bathroom and announces to everyone on the other side of the door:

"Mimi said it's OK to poop on a toilet seat. It's totally OK!"

2. There's no better way to convince yourself you're incapable of doing something well than watching someone do it extraordinarily well.

3. Doing something well doesn't automatically make it important – or a priority.

4. When Jesus said, "It is finished," He wasn't trying to get you to the END.

He was making a way for your BEGINNING.

5. You either win or you learn.

6. My car-buying method (you're welcome):

Buy cars that are two or three years old and pay about 50% of the original sticker price. Drive them for two or three years, then sell them for 75% or more of what you paid.

7. "We do not know where death awaits us; so let us wait for it everywhere. To practice death is to practice freedom." – Michel de Montaigne

8. The world treats. Jesus heals.

9. Success is being thrilled to go to work every morning…

…and thrilled to come home every night.

10. The beach PA announced there was a water shortage.

A little girl immediately asked her mother, in a panicked voice:

"Does that mean I can't go in the water today?"

As if he'd overheard her, the announcer added,

"The outdoor showers are closed."

The little girl started jumping up and down like it was Christmas morning.
