Even if nobody asked….
1. “Correct me if I’m wrong” says you weren’t confident (or mature) enough to avoid putting yourself on center-stage. Lose that statement.
2. “Hey Dean, remember the time you forgot my suitcase”? How my beautiful wife sees things.
3. Worry is a misuse of imagination.
4. “I’ll get to that in a few minutes” is improved by naming the actual time. “I’ll get to that in 5 minutes” – far more user friendly to the listener.
5. When my wife complains about something that is a privledge she’ll smirk and say “I guess my diamond shoes are too tight.” Pretty funny.
6. Rights without responsibility and accountability leads to chaos. Always.
7. Churches are often the leading cause for needing churches.
8. The greatest teacher is DOING.
9. Creativity is about keeping the loud voice in your head busy so the quiet guy has a chance to speak up.
10. Since it’s my wedding anniversary week I’ll offer some “advice” on marraige. In the last week, my wife and I have flown to Kentucky, Chicago, California and Texas. Only once did we sit next to eachother on the plane.
And yes, in ALL of those separated flights I sat BEHIND her somewhere on the plane.
Why?
Because I didn’t want her diamond shoes to feel too tight. 😎
Rock it out today!
