Even if nobody asked……
1. Slammed my head into the corner of an open cabinet in my house last weekend. Quite a gash, lots of bleeding, rather painful. Later, I text a picture of the cleaned-up wound to my wife, who was vacationing in Florida. Her reply: “I only see wrinkles. #Botox.” One of my taller friends, Will Burgess, heard about the incident and his text was just as supportive: “Hey, I didn’t think you were tall enough to do that. Well done!” Yes, I have special people in my life.
2. Love is built on two pillars, PATIENCE, and KINDNESS. All other characteristics are extensions of these two attributes.
3. Truly ironic that the AUTHOR Stephen King has often proven to be even more vile and evil than the CHARACTERS of Stephen King.
4. The biggest worry my wife has in leaving me home alone for a few days is not my health or the threat of being replaced by a new ‘model’, it’s that she arrives home to find she only has one dog now instead of two. #Kevin!
5. How come spell check doesn’t work with cap locks? Like I become a better speller when I write with cap locks on? I wish it were that EASEY.
6. “Sin may seem pleasant to us now, but we must keep in mind how it might look from a dying pillow.” – Living Life Backwards
7. Sometimes practice just makes more practice. Success whispers, ‘Are you OK with that?’
8. The reason we feel Charlie Kirk's death so deeply is because grief doesn’t measure itself by proximity. It measures itself by meaning.
9. If you ever wondered what the NFL would look like if it had a minor league just watch Thursday Night Football.
10. Signs I might be George Costanza (or Cliff Clavin?): I can’t go to a meat/deli counter to place an order without telling the person serving me that I did their job for 8 years and 9 months of my life. I don’t know why I do this. Better cut of meat? A random discount? An over-the-counter chest bump? It would help to know that either Steven Ricci or William Calia do this too?
Rock it out today. Please comment and share with enthusiasm.
