Even if nobody asked….
1. At breakfast yesterday, my two-and-a-half-year-old grandson Mac snuck my wife’s Amex out of her billfold, handed it to her and said, “I got this one, Mimi.”
2. Things are always clearer in the rearview mirror than the windshield.
3. I took all social media off my phone two weeks ago. Now I have no idea who to be mad at, who to pray for or who to celebrate.
4. Breeze Airway seems to only take me to places I WANT to go instead of places I HAVE to go.
5. Naturally gifted people sometimes have a hard time maintaining discipline. BTW, I’m an all-star at maintaining discipline.
6. Part of the joy of spending time with my grandchildren (and kids in general) is that they live outside the realm of cynicism and irony.
7. I’m trying to demolish the arrogance of certainty these days.
8. I found it quite shocking when the NBA traded the league’s 3rd best player from Dallas to LA last weekend. I suppose I shouldn’t have been.
9. Best to learn really fast that if you own a business, the real business you’re in is MARKETING your business.
